# use/td Finance Review Workflow

use/td turns scattered accounting, payroll, banking, revenue, and model context into a reviewed finance packet.

## Review Loop

1. Scope: agree on the runway question, reporting deadline, source list, and review standard.
2. Prepare: AI drafts the first packet from accounting, payroll, banking, revenue, and model context.
3. Review: a finance expert checks assumptions, exceptions, formulas, and board-facing narrative.
4. Approve: founders and operators approve decisions, filings, payroll, payments, and money movement.
5. Remember: approved assumptions, packet format, and reviewer notes make the next cycle faster.

## What The Packet Covers

- Current cash position and burn movement
- Runway and cash-out date logic
- Hiring-plan scenarios and compensation assumptions
- Variance notes for board or investor reporting
- Source-linked assumptions
- Reviewer notes and approval history

## AI Role

AI prepares source-linked drafts, normalizes inputs, and flags exceptions. A finance expert reviews judgment-heavy work before delivery.

## Review Standard

The review standard covers source completeness, runway logic, hiring assumptions, variance narrative, advisor boundaries, and founder approval. The packet should include a source map, assumptions log, reviewer notes, open questions, and approval history.

## Trust Controls

Read-only source access or exports are preferred. Customer context is used for the scoped finance review, not to train general AI models. NDA and DPA terms are available for procurement review. Retention, deletion, packet handoff, and source-access removal expectations are agreed before recurring work starts.

## Human Control

use/td does not autonomously move money, approve payroll, file taxes, make financing decisions, or provide legal or tax advice.
